'The Office' is good, but not 'real good'

Is that a fair way to say it? I am laughing, the episodes of brought out some classic moments, particularly involving Merideth's ingenious way of finding discounts, and Dwight's product testing methods, but the way this show works is simple:
-office shenannigans go on, Pam and Jim observe them on our behalf as they are in on the joke along with us. Well guess what's wrong with this formula right now?

Desperate Housewives
I am sorry, but the flash-forward five years thing was cute for an episode, now this show is just grating. It is painful to watch, and any scene involving the once lovely Terri Hatcher causes me to fast-forward without pause (no pun intended).

Brothers and Sisters
If Rebecca wasn't so damn hot I would forced to focus only on Calista Flockhart's awful botox and plot lines that eventually lead toward a Sally Field 'emmy-worthy tear speech'. Week after week after week after week after week...
