SUMMER HIATUS 2008

Here is the thing, for me, summer TV is all about baseball, football pre-season games, and no commitments to the DVR. I plan to finish the season of 'Greek', get involved in AMC's 'Mad Men' season 2. Pretend that I am going to rent 'Weeds' or 'Rescue Me' which I never do, and then occassionaly pick up a rerun of a non-serialzed show like 'CSI:Anything' or 'Cold Case' -- other than that, consider me hibernating.

YEAR ONE STATS
I enjoyed writing this blog over the past nine months -- I actually had some OK readership, 5 readers on a slow day, 25 on a good day. About 75% of my readership were folks who know me, and 25% were web searches that landed here. Most of those were using the key words 'SNL Sucks', 'Saturday Night Live Sucks', or 'HIMYM' -- which is kind of funny overall. I have no way of knowing whether those folks came back for more, but hopefully they weren't too disappointed. The good news (or bad) is, they didn't land here and find a video of a woman having a three-way with a goat and a horse - I hate it when that happens.
Most of my readership was in Minnesota and NYC with a few dedicated followers in Virgina and Texas. I also had some interesting European hits this year, probably looking for that three-way video I spoke of earlier.

I will be back for season 2, it was a nice creative outlet. Hope you enjoyed reading, we'll see you in August with the FALL/WINTER PREVIEW 2008-2009. Until then, only 200+ plus days until the return of 'Lost' and '24' finally.

You REALLY need to rent Weeds. Especially since I think you would be a huge Kevin Nealon fan - he is fantastic in his role. Your Lost review was dead on - best show on television. 30 Rock has a lot of 'splainin to do, because it sucked awful at the end of this season.

I am dissapointed by the lack of DNC coverage and commentary.
